An experiment will be conducted where designers from different backgrounds would have to come up with a creative way to showcase their work in the space while answering the question “Is Design a Need?” The outcome is ultimately in the creatives’ hands. Location: Venezuela street, Paloma Building Beirut Evictions Monitor By Public Works Studio Part exhibition, part presentation, part interactive data collection, this event will engage the participants in questions of the right to housing in Beirut. Public Works Studio in collaboration with Shfra Studio have created an interactive map of housing evictions in the city. This map is an exploration of the role of design and technology in a wider effort to study, shape, and implement strategies to counter the ongoing processes of eviction and displacement taking place in Beirut. Dystopian Realities

As a group of designers, we are opening a discussion about twenty-first century problems and how to address them. Our approach is to get inspired from nature’s way of adapting to its contextin order to re-design our bodies and adapt to our changing world.
