Creative Lebanon is the local chapter of creative Mediterranean, a UNIDO regional project funded by the European Union and Italy. The project supports clusters from the Southern Mediterranean to create new collections of design products inspired by cultural heritages and combining modern design with ancestral know-how, traditional patterns and local materials. The project also aims to contribute to inclusive growth by fostering entrepreneurial cooperation in cultural and creative industries through the promotion of promising cluster initiatives. The two clusters supported by the project in Lebanon are the Furniture cluster in Tripoli and the Jewelry cluster in Bourj Hammoud.
