PlayHaus Studios is a Design Studio founded by Tania Tiffny Al Jaroudy and Preet Kalra in New York City. Two graduates of Parsons The New School of Design combining forces in the fields of Industrial Design and Architecture. PlayHaus Studios is launching a pop-up installation combining two concepts that will be showcased in Beirut Design Week 2018. The Do-Lab Project is a philanthropic initiative to build play areas for children in refugee camps. In collaboration with Color-MeBeirut a large scale coloring book that features graphics of traditional lebanese symbols. These graphics consist of lines and numbers, each number corresponds to a certain color that will be filed in by the community. The designers are committed to creating communal experiences for people rooted in education, and establishing spaces of creativity in hopes of empowering and inspiring people in need. Believing in the right to play and promoting arts as a form of healing. The design-duo are currently working on projects in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, New York, and Beirut.
